Downriver Days always delivers one of the most pure, joyful, and uniquely American weekends.
Saturday was the parade through the town of Ione. We showcased our ladder truck, Mobile Medical Unit, front-line brush trucks, command vehicles, the fire rescue boat and the first appearance of our bulldozer.
We also set up the water-cannon keg fight where friends and family can attempt to move the keg on a cable with the force of water. Everyone comes away soaking wet and smiling.

Water Fun
The Snowmobile Watercross racing is always an exciting event. Crowds lined the shoreline and waterway to enjoy the competition. Pend Oreille County Fire was stationed at the park during the event, while our fire boat patrolled the water alongside the Pend Oreille County Sheriff Search and Rescue boat.
Thank you to the Selkirk Trailblazers for another successful Down River Days!
