What a glorious Fourth of July in Pend Oreille County!
Hundreds of smiling faces lined the streets in the communities of Usk and Cusick for our 250th year celebration parade under beautiful sunny skies.
Our POC FIRE team was out in full force with Physician 1, multiple engines, an ambulance, Ladder 22, Deputy Chief Gallanger, Division Chief Blake McAnerin, and so many dedicated members.
Then we went onto Metaline for the community firework display where friends, family, food and fun bring the community together.
Days like today—celebrating freedom, community, and the 250th anniversary of our great nation—make everything we do worthwhile.
