Pend Oreille County Fire District 2 and 4 entered into a contract agreement that will benefit both agencies and enhance medical services to the residents of Pend Oreille County. This agreement, starting May 1, 2025, will provide limited equipment and funding to District 4 to staff a full time ambulance in the central part of the county to ensure rapid emergency medical response capabilities county wide. We appreciate the elected Fire Commissioners of both Pend Oreille County Fire Protection Districts 2 and 4 for their unwavering dedication and support of their respective agencies and their tenacity and commitment to the citizens of Pend Oreille County.
