POC FIRE set up a medical standby station May 16-19th 2024 for a National Sport Horse event in Spokane WA. This event featured Dressage and Cross Country tests for horses and riders from all areas of the US and Canada. POC FIRE provided Paramedics and EMTs to the venue, who staged onsite at the event. This allowed instant availability of emergency medical treatment if an incident involving a rider or spectator was to take place. POC FIRE is excited for opportunities to provide ALS services outside of our 911 response.
